How can I participate in Promise of Home?

If you feel that you have something that you would like the community to know about you, about your life, about who you are, or about your experience living in Fredericton—whether good or bad—then Promise of Home is here to help you tell your story. If it helps you focus, the main question is, “Does Fredericton feel like home to you or not?” and the answer can be yes, no, or anywhere in between. Please remember:

• Your story can be about anything that you want to share.
• Your story can be in any language that you choose.
• Your story can be in any form of expression that you choose. (Painting, writing, poetry, spoken word, drama, dance, presentation, video, photography, music, etc.).
• You must be at least 16 years of age.

We will send you the registration form and we will schedule a virtual meeting with the team to get to know you and start helping you develop your story!

If you are a schoolteacher and you would like to incorporate this as a teaching exercise for your class, please get in touch with us too.
