STORIES OF HOME: PROMISE OF HOME PHASE TWO LAUNCH EVENT MARCH 14, 2023
Dear Community Members,
The Promise of Home team is pleased to invite you to STORIES OF
HOME, the public launch of the stories of immigrants and international
students who have participated in the second phase of our project.
This group of 17 participants have shared their accounts and insight on
their immigration journeys, their school and community experiences, and
how much sense of belonging they feel since immigrating to Fredericton.
The Promise of Home team believes that the community at large will
benefit from hearing these stories from their own members and
neighbours. Likewise, the participants are very happy that they are giving
back to their new community with their perspective and their wisdom.
STORIES OF HOME will take place at St. Thomas University, Brian
Mulroney Hall, Room 101, located at 825 Montgomery Street on Tuesday
March 14, 2023, starting at 7 pm. Parking is free at St. Thomas University
after 4 pm. The event is open to the public.
