100-Day Global Challenge

What is the 100-day Global Challenge?

Dear Staff & Faculty,

Back by popular demand, we are excited to announce we’re participating in the 100-Day Global Challenge running September 4th to December 13th!

The Global Challenge is a fun way to become a healthier, happier you with the support of the online program that is about more than just steps.  This challenge begins with a 100-day virtual journey around the world.  In teams of seven, employees track their activity and work towards a daily target, unlocking new locations along the way.  There are 5 modules in total that track various areas of your individual health and assist you on gaining a better understanding of what you need in those areas.

  • HOW IT WORKS: Teams of seven people each from other organizations around the world will map their steps to cities along virtual the journeyVirtual awards, team spirit and prizes at the end of the 100-day challenge to help keep you motivated.
  • WHAT YOU GET: Each member receives a sleek MAX Buzz Wristwatch activity tracker. Track your activity – everything from yoga to kitesurfing! In addition to the online and mobile app displaying steps and virtual location throughout the journey, you will access to the following modules:
    • Nutrition module (Day 22)
    • Balance module (Day 43)
    • NEW** Focus module (Day 50)
    • Sleep module (Day 57)
  • BEYOND THE 100-DAY JOURNEY: Participants will have ongoing access to the GC’s platform and features, via the website or mobile app to track your daily activity. STU will also have the option to take part in additional challenges throughout the year, providing more opportunities to motivate and engage our people.
  • COST TO STU: The cost per participant for this challenge is $116.50 + HST. The Wellness Committee will pay 75% + all HST.
  • WHAT YOU PAY: The remaining 25% to be paid by participant is $30. Details provided upon registration.
