Companion Species & Workplace Well-Being

This 18-month, auto/ethnographic study will explore the relationship between well-being in the workplace and the consistency/continuity of the bond formed between humans and dogs. Through interviews with, observation of, and self-recording by individuals who are part of a human-canine dyad, I will explore the nature of the human-canine bond, the factors that enhance and diminish that bond, and the amelioration of negative workplace factors through the accommodation and promotion of the human-canine bond.
An information sheet about the project can be found here:  Canine companions PIS
